Inspired by the classic novel by Gaston Leroux, this adaptation brings a comic twist to one of the most famous love and horror stories in the world, transporting it to a television studio in the 1970s. A mysterious ghost who haunts the studio has fallen in love with Christine, a vivacious soprano. She seems interested in this ‘angel of music’, whilst at the same time feeling attracted to Raul, the presenter of a television contest. The ghost would do anything to win Christine’s affection, be that sabotaging the programme, kidnapping his rival or trying to impress her in the most embarrassing ways!
